The overall objective of the Shale Water Research Center’s work is to measure, describe, and model full cycle water and chemical additives used in shale oil and gas production so that issues related to shale water decisions can be understood, adverse effects avoided, and production enhanced while maintaining zero, or positive, environmental impact.
